PADOVA
I genitori di alcuni alunni hanno protestato con il preside di una scuola di Noventa Padovana a causa del compito a casa assegnato ad una terza elementare: tradurre una poesia in dialetto veneto.

Il responsabile Gaetano Calore difende la richiesta dell'insegnante, insieme alla dirigente scolastica regionale Carmela Palumbo, perchè aderente al normale programma scolastico di recupero delle tradizioni locali, anche attraverso il contatto con gli anziani. Inoltre erano esclusi dall'esercitazione i bimbi non italiani.

La dirigente regionale respinge qualunque intento regionalista nell’iniziativa e aggiunge, riferendosi ai genitori promotori della protesta: «Non si rendono conto che il recupero delle tradizioni orali regionali si è sempre fatto. Chi pensa il contrario, e immagina che tutto questo sia frutto delle recenti riforme della scuola, è in malafede».
